While Fort Wayne and other communities are becoming more culturally diverse, prejudice and tolerance are learned at home by children. Our panel guests will lead an open discussion about how, when, and why parents, schools, and the media influence children about race and prejudice.
Our speakers will include Assam Nasr and Todd Lee Goen, professors at IPFW. Other speakers will be announced shortly.
This Diversity Dialogue is free and open to the public. They are held at YWCA Northeast Indiana, 1610 Spy Run Avenue, Fort Wayne, from 12:00-1:30 pm. To join us, RSVP by calling Sue Hiatt at 424-4908 ext. 254, or RSVP on our YWCA Fort Wayne Facebook page.
