Community Movie Night of Fort Wayne presents 'Urban Roots'

FORT WAYNE, IN – Fort Wayne Community Builders present the third in the series of movies focused on community building in Fort Wayne. The award winning movie Urban Roots will be shown on Wednesday, February 13, at 7:00 p.m. at Downtown Fort Wayne’s Cinema Center Theatre. Admission is $5 with all proceeds going directly to Fort Wayne Cinema Center and A Better Fort Farm projects.
The movie tells the tale of Detroit Michigan , the film follows the urban farming phenomenon in Detroit. Urban Roots is a timely, moving and inspiring film that speaks to a nation grappling with collapsed industrial towns and the need to forge a sustainable and prosperous future. After the film, Brian Tracy, assistant director of the Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values, will hold a discussion exploring ethical themes and implications of morality in some of the decisions made by characters in the film in Cinema Center’s Spectator Lounge.
