10,000 Pucks World Record
10,000 Pucks World Record

Start Date: Nov. 17, 2012
Time: 12:00 PM

Lamp Lighters Hockey Ministry presents 10,000 Pucks World Record. Guy Dupuis and Eddie Long, former Fort Wayne Komet Hockey captains, will host the event. Our goal is to set world record (through Record Setter) by taking 10,000 street hockey shots in one day, the most ever by a group of people. Each shooter will be responsible for raising $1 for every shot they commit to take. We are looking for individuals and businesses in the community to support our effort by becoming one of the shooters or a business sponsor of the event. Or come out the day of the event to support the shooters (free will donations accepted). The event will take place at Spiece Fitness located at 5310 Merchandise Drive, Fort Wayne, IN on November 17, 2012 from 12 PM-4 PM. Proceeds for the event will go towards launching Lamp Lighters Hockey Ministry’s program: the “Hockey Mobile”. This is a trailer packed with all of the equipment needed to play street hockey. The “Hockey Mobile” will travel to different locations around Fort Wayne on a weekly basis to engage the community in active lifestyles through playing street hockey, as well as developing other aspects of each participant: mind, spirit, service, and leadership. Our mission is to develop fully mature disciples of Jesus Christ through hockey.
